An important update from MiraTEC and Extira about COVID-19

We are pleased to be able to share some good news with you: the JELD-WEN manufacturing facility in Towanda, PA has been given clearance from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to resume operations effective with our 3rd shift employees tonight (3/24/2020).

We are still closely monitoring COVID-19 and our resumed manufacturing plan reflects the adjustments needed to maintain the safety of our employees while continuing to provide you with the materials supply that your business depends on:

• We will resume standard delivery schedules. Our customer service team is ready to assist you on any orders, requirements or changes needed to support your business at this time.

• The Towanda, PA manufacturing facility has implemented enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures within the plant. Additional education has been provided on personal hygiene and increased cleaning requirements for plant employees.

• Our customer service and warranty teams are operating during our normal business hours. For the safety of our employees, more service representatives are working from home, however the contact information remains the same.

• Our sales team continues to be available to assist you. If they are not able to meet in person based on on-site visitor or travel restrictions, they can connect with you via web conferencing, phone calls or emails.

As the COVID-19 crisis evolves, we will continue to follow guidelines from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as local authorities in areas where we operate. We will advise you of additional changes to our operations should they become necessary.
